CONSISTENT STRATIGRAPHY NOTED IN TRENCH: CHALKY TOPSOIL; CRUSHED CHALK (& TILE, SLATE); OXIDISED CLAY, IRON STAINED PATCHES; BLUE-GREY SILTY CLAY & TWIGGY, WATER-LAID MATERIAL; HOGGIN (B12).
