  • MANOR (Medieval to Post-Medieval - 1066 AD to 1798 AD)

Description

Edmund's manor, named in 1465, seems to have been an earlier name for Burbage manor. Conveyed in 1697 to John Deacle, represented by Rev John Deacle in 1787 & 1797 (manorial history of Burbage & Rowsham manors) (B4).
Burbage manor apparently stood in centre of Rowsham (but see CASS 00406)(B2).
