CIRCULAR RING FORMED BY LOW DITCH, THE INTERIOR FLAT BUT LOWER THAN GROUND LEVEL OUTSIDE. KNOWN LOCALLY AS 'WORSHIPPING CIRCLE' (B2).

TQ 047879. A mound 200 ft S of Savay Farm. ORIGINALY DESCRIBED WHEN SCHEDULED AS DITCHED MOUND WITH BANK ON W & SARSENS ON OTHER SIDES, VISIBLE WHEN DRY. ?DATE & FUNCTION (B1).
About 200m south of Savay farm there is a low ditched, semi-circular mound situated on a gentle slope under pasture. No structures can be seen on it, and no finds have been made. It is of indeterminate date and purpose. However, it is a Scheduled Ancient Monument (B4).


At TQ 04708794 on a gentle NW facing slope under pasture is a low ditched mound levelled into the slope. The mound is oval, measuring c12.0m NW-SE by c10.0m transversely, and is 0.3m above the surroundingditch which is c 5.5m wide. No structures can be seen on the mound, and no finds have been made. Its date and purpose are not known. Surveyed at 1/2500 (B6).
