CIRCULAR RING FORMED BY LOW DITCH, THE INTERIOR FLAT BUT LOWER THAN GROUND LEVEL OUTSIDE. KNOWN LOCALLY AS 'WORSHIPPING CIRCLE' (B2).
PLAN & SECTION AT 1:500 (B3).
ORIGINALY DESCRIBED WHEN SCHEDULED AS DITCHED MOUND WITH BANK ON W & SARSENS ON OTHER SIDES, VISIBLE WHEN DRY. ?DATE & FUNCTION (B1).
About 200m south of Savay farm there is a low ditched, semi-circular mound situated on a gentle slope under pasture. No structures can be seen on it, and no finds have been made. It is of indeterminate date and purpose. However, it is a Scheduled Ancient Monument (B4).
