CHILTON ESTATE MAP (?C18) MARKS FIELD CENTRED AT NGR 'BRICK KILN CORNER' (B1).
ONE OR TWO SHALLOW DEPRESSIONS IN THE FIELD MAY BE THE RESULTS OF CLAY DIGGING FOR A BRICK KILN. LARGE FISHPOND ADJACENT (CASS 01681) MAY HAVE BEEN FORMED BY EXTENSIVE EXTRACTION (B2).
