Description
Earthworks of possible moats or drainage features identified from aerial photographs northeast of Moat Farm (B1).
Well-preserved earthwork remains of large subrectangular platforms or closes with traces of ditched subdivisions or property boundaries in two fields on the north side of Ship Lane, SW of Manor Farm. The southwestern-most platform has a particularly deep and wide boundary ditch on it's northern side, which may be the remains of a moat. The earthworks are clearly visible on Environment Agency LiDAR data (B2).
