Description
389 residual Mesolithic to early Neolithic worked flints recovered from later features in evaluation and later excavations. The flint was probably derived from locally-sourced flint nodules. Finds were dispersed across the whole site, and in a variety of conditions, from fresh (2) to burnt (11), and iron-stained (2), suggesting casual loss, discard or possibly inclusion in Bronze Age manuring scatters, rather than a single flint-working or occupation site.
