Summary

Probable late C18th timber framed and weatherboarded barn with a brick and flint plinth. The trusses are of tie beam and collar construction and the rafters are clasped between purlin and collar. The west gable was re-built, probably when the covered yard was constructed in 1884. All rafters and purlins have matching carpenters marks.

Description

Probable late C18th timber framed and weatherboarded barn with a brick and flint plinth. The trusses are of tie beam and collar construction and the rafters are clasped between purlin and collar. The west gable was re-built, probably when the covered yard was constructed in 1884. All rafters and purlins have matching carpenters marks. (B1).
