Description
Two broadly parallel sinuous linear banks of unknown date seen as earthworks on aerial photos and sketch plotted at 1:10,000. The western-most bank is discontinuous, with an overall length of 230m; the other is 270m long. Both are aligned NE-SW (B1).
This record includes National Record of the Historic Environment Information provided by Historic England on 4 June 2025 licensed under the Open Government Licence (B2).
The eastern-most bank is clearly visible as an earthwork in arable fields on the Chilterns Conservation Board Lidar dataset. This is shown as a field and woodland boundary on the 1812 OS surveyor's draft 2-inch map (B3).
