Description
COBBLES COVERED WHOLE AREA OF PLATFORM. AFTER CLEANING THEM, AN 18IN THICK LIMESTONE WALL, WITH COBBLES BUILT INTO ITS BASE, FOUND RUNNING NE/SW. AT W END AN AREA OF BURNT LIMESTONE & BRICKS, PROBABLY A HEARTH OF C17 COTTAGE, OF WHICH ONLY CLAY FLOOR REMAINED (B1 ).
