MEDIEVAL BUILDING SEALED BENEATH FLOOR OF C17 COTTAGE, BASE OF WALL BEING S WALL OF MED COTTAGE. INTER IOR WAS 16X7FT. LOWER PART OF WALLS WAS LIMESTONE, UPPER WATTLE & DAUB. CENTRAL PARTITION. FINDS SUGGEST W END WAS LIVING AREA. BUILDING OCCUPIED FROM C13- C15; DEMOLISHED FOR C17 COTTAGE (REPORT & PLAN)(BI1)
