Description

Dimensions - Length 340m.
Plan Form - Linear.
'Castle' noted in Kingswood (B1).
No trace of castle found, but there is a bank with traces of ditch & a deep holloway. Bank was probably wood boundary, with a channel allowing access to a pond, but not the wood. Several saw pits visible in vicinity. Survey of earthworks & saw pits & annotated 1:2500 map (B2).
