Description

Holywell Mead opened on 1 June 1957 and is based on a 1930s design. There is a 30m outdoor swimming pool, 20m teaching pool, grass area and patio for sun lounging and cafe. In March 2009 Wycombe District Council voted through the closure of Holywell Mead Outdoor Swimming Pool. A fierce public campaign led to it re-opening on 27th May 2011 (1).
It was built in 1954 (2).
