Description
Chesham Town swimming pool dates to the early 20th Century though there is some suggestion that the earlier swimming baths were updated in the mid 1960s. See Epoch 3 WebGIS for earlier swimming baths (1,2).
26m by 10m outdoor heated pool, built in 1964. The pool was extensively refurbished in 1988-89, and further improvements were made in the 1990s. As of the early 21st century there is a gym, fitness centre and a cafe. (3)
