Description
Spearheads, coins, an urn, boars tusks etc were found (c 1851-61) in making the park at Aston Clinton House (Howard Park - SP 8811).
(The urn may be the Belgic urn from Aston Clinton in Bucks Museum - see SP 81 SE 15) (B1).
"I do not think any reliance can be placed on Sheahan's remark - it may be justified but I never heard of the evidence on which it rested, though familiar with the parish….." (2)
