Description

The fragmentary cropmarks of two possible Iron Age or Roman enclosures west of Goddard's Wood are visible on aerial photographs taken in 2004. Only two sides of the southern enclosure (at SU 7768 9052) are visible. The northern enclosure is at SU 7778 9073 but only one side is clearly visible and it may instead be the remains of a field boundary (1).
