Description

SP 725353 Romano-British pottery and tegulae (B1).
SP 72433530 2nd/4th century pottery, building debris, the base of a pseudo-Venus pipe clay figurine and an inhumation were found by F Finch and H W Pengelly, when a sewer trench was dug in 1971 (B2).
These finds are probably associated with the Foxcote Roman villa (SP 73 NW 2), which lies about 200 metres to the west (B3).
