Description

A possible subrectangular homestead moat is shown on the 1848 Edlesborough tithe map, surrounding a 17th century former farmhouse and possible farm buildings. The moat and some of the farm buildings are not shown on the 1868 tithe apportionment map, or on the 1880 1st edition 25-inch OS map. The moat appears to have been supplied by a inlet leat in the SW corner, with an outlet leat from the NW corner (B1).
