Description

A possible Bronze Age round barrow visible as the cropmark of a single ring ditch located immediately to the west of a modern field boundary which appears to respect the feature. The faint cropmark of a second possible ring ditch was also seen further to the west. Approximately 30m to the south-east of the first ring ditch are the slight earthwork remains of a low circular mound surrounded by a ditch (Monument Number 342718, CAS 00333) thought to be a former windmill mound. The presence of an adjacent ring ditch of a similar size could suggest these are both contemporary features (1).
