Description
3 POSSIBLE PLATFORMS, WITH SMALL POND NEAR STREAM. DEEP RIDGE & FURROW TERMINATES AT FEATURES, CHANGING DIRECTION WHERE THERE ARE SMALL TUMPS ON END OF EACH RIDGE. PIPE TRENCH SECTIONED 1 PLATFORM. ONLY FIND WAS A MED? HORN COMB. NOTED BY RWG & MRS J SOUT HERNWOOD (BI1).
(Centred SP 813 270) House platforms, 13th century pottery and horn comb discovered during pipeline operations for Bucks Water Board (B2).
(Centred SP 8138 2698). An isolated area of disturbed pasture, (c20.0m square overall) adjoining a pond, within which are two possible platforms. The surrounding area shows a little disturbed rig and furrow (B3).
