Description

Cropmark of a probable Bronze Age round barrow visible on aerial photographs at SP 7189 0799. The barrow appears to have two closely spaced concentric ditches, but there is a possibility that this is a single broad ditch with the inner and outer edges causing a darker cropmark giving the impression of two concentic lines. There is a faint cropmark of a possible second adjacent barrow immediately to the north-west of this. Two further barrows (NRHE 1596505 & 1596506)[CAS15780 & 15781] can be seen to the south-west.
