Description
SLIGHT EARTHWORKS ON HIGH GROUND. PLOUGHED HOUSE PLATFORMS? ASSOCIATED WITH C12 &13 POTTERY FROM FIELD, WHICH LIES TO W OF SALDEN FARM, & IS NAMED 'WARREN GROUND' (BI1&2)
SP 822298. 12th & 13thc sherds found by R W Griffiths on surface of ploughed field with slight earthworks. (The "earthworks" are probably rig and furrow - see St Joseph
AP with SP 82 NW 6) (B2).
No significant feature apart from remains of rig and furrow, visible in a field under pasture (B4).
