The fragmented cropmarks of a possible Iron Age enclosure can be seen on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs. The cropmarks show an irregular ditch defining part of the eastern and northern side. A separate cropmark to the west may be part of the same feature. The western cropmark is indistinct, but may include an entrance.

Description

The fragmented cropmarks of a possible Iron Age enclosure can be seen on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken on 30th July 2015. The cropmarks, at SU 9956 9916, show an irregular ditch defining part of the eastern and northern side. A separate cropmark to the west may be part of the same feature. The western cropmark is indistinct, but may include an entrance (1).
