Description

Geophysical survey carried out by MoLA Northampton in April 2024 in advance of proposed residential development identified a series of conjoined rectilinear enclosures in Fields 3 and 4, as well as a separate 35mX35m square enclosure in the north-west of Field 3. The regular form of the enclosures, and the previous discovery of Roman pottery from the same area, suggest a probable Roman origin. See report for detail (B1).
