Description

A post medieval drainage system is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located along both banks of a watercourse south of Watbridge Farm and centred at SP 72108 13742, the interconnected system of ditches extends over 1,180 metres and also into fields SE towards Marsh Farm. On aerial photographs taken in 2023 and recent remote sensing data, some of the ditches have been levelled (1-5).
