Description

An area of possible shrunken settlement of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located west of Pratt’s Farm, north of Frog Lane, on the north side of Cuddington, and centred at SP 73800 11415. Earthworks of boundaries forming long narrow parcels some with possible building platforms. Field names mainly indicated use as orchards which continues through the whole of Cuddington and can also be seen on the Ordnance Survey Epoch 1 map. (1-3)
