Description

A ditch of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located approximately 475m south east of Winchendon Hill Farm, Nether Winchendon, and centred at SP 74279 12327. A low earthwork in a probable arable field is visible on aerial photographs from 1943. It appears to join up with a network of trackways/roads around the edges of the modern field. This boundary is not shown on historic mapping. (1-4)
