Description

Drainage ditches of probable post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located north of the River Thame, Nether Winchendon, and centred at SP 74313 12053. The ditches are between areas of ridge and furrow earthworks and the on the north of the river and the and the infilled course of the mill race for Winchendon Mill, on the flood plain of the River Thame.
