Description

Drainage ditches of probable post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on the north of the River Thame, Nether Winchendon, and centred at SP 72938 11619. A network of crossing drainage ditches south or ridge and furrow field systems is visible on the flood plain of the River Thame. (1-2)
