Description

Drainage ditches of probable post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on the west side of the River Thame, Nether Winchendon, and centred at SP 72716 10873. Drainage ditches across the flood plain of the River Thame, between ridge and furrow field systems and the river, west of the site of Cuddington Mill. They run parallel to the direction the river and cross the current line of the parish boundary between Cuddington and Nether Winchendon. (1-3)
