Description

A field barn of post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was/were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located south of Chearsley Furze, Chearsley, and centred at SP 71095 11908. The barn can be seen as a roofed building in 1946 but only low walls can be seen by 2003 and lidar visualisations show an earthwork bank on the site. (1-2)
