Description

Landslip deposits of uncertain date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located approximately 400m south of Chearsley Furze, Chearsley, and centred at SP 71189 11746. Very uneven ground is visible at the centre of an area of ridge and furrow earthworks on a hill south of Chearsley Furze. The underlying solid geology is of Kimmeridge Clay Formation Mudstones, Siltstones and Sandstones. (1-2)
