Description
Boundary ditches of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located in Town’s End, Haddenham, and centred at SP 74177 09019. Former boundary ditches can be seen as earthworks on aerial photographs from the 1940s. They are parallel to, or continuations of, parcel boundaries shown on historic mapping. This whole area has been redeveloped for housing in the late 20th century and none of these boundaries remain.
