Description

A field boundary of probable post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located approximately 350m west of Lenton’s Pool, Notley Abbey, Long Crendon, and centred at SP 71079 09582. Linear ditch at right angles to an existing field boundary, also shown on historic mapping. This ditch is no longer visible as an earthwork. (1-2)
