Description

Boundary ditches and earthworks of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located across the stream at Ford, near Bridgefoot Farm, Dinton-with-Ford and Upton, and centred at SP 77571 09556. The boundaries form two small enclosures on either side of the watercourse and the northern enclosure has earthworks, which may have been a building platform the Ordnance Survey Epoch 1 map shows a small building in this parcel.
