Description

Boundary ditches of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located west of the settlement at Ford, Dinton-with-Ford and Upton, and centred at SP 77352 09162. These boundaries are parallel to existing and historical field boundaries and fit in with other boundaries that create long narrow plots along the south side of the watercourse that runs through Ford.
