Description

[Area centred SU 93747716] A late Bronze Age spearhead was dredged from the river Thames at Surley Head Point circa 1950 (B1). Surley Head Point is situated at SU 93727720. (Information obtained locally and confirmed by F.M. Underhill) (B2).

Late Bronze Age spearhead found upstream of Surley Hall Point, Bucks side 1950. On loan to Reading Museum (Acc. No. 56: 50). [Sited to area centred SU 935773] (B3).

In Thames Conservancy Collection on loan to Reading Museum (B4).
