Description

A circular mound of uncertain date and function is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located in a field about 120 metres W of Fieldside Farm and centred at SP 73646 19860, a circular mound is about 22 metres in diameter. It is sited within a block of medieval/post medieval ridge and furrow cultivation earthworks and appears to underlie it (1-3).
