Description
A road of medieval/post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and/or remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located north of the Aylesbury Road (A418), Haddenham, and centred at SP 72005 08387. The line of a road, leading north away from the road that is now Aylesbury Road towards the River Thame, can be seen on Ordnance Surveyors’ Drawing for Aylesbury. It is visible between areas of ridge and furrow on aerial photographs and as a low earthworks on lidar visualisations. (1-4)
