Description

A sewage works of World War II date is visible on historic aerial photographs as extant buildings and structures and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on the west side of the former airfield at Haddenham and centred at SP 72903 08562. The sewage works is visible as drainage ditches in a grid pattern with settling tanks, a road and a building visible on aerial photographs. By 1973 only the remnants of the tanks and the road can be seen and everything except the concrete road is gone by 2003. (1-6)
