Description

Boundary ditches of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located west of the settlements at Bishopstone, Stone with Bishopstone with Hartwell, and centred at SP 80102 10418. These boundaries are on the north side of Bishopstone Farm, visible in an area of ridge and furrow earthworks and they divide the area in to smaller parcels of land. Some of the boundaries are visible on Ordnance Survey Epoch 1 mapping. They are located to the north of possible house platforms (see MBC11050). (1-2)
