Description

Excavation identified linear ditches, curvilinear ditch, enclosures, numerous pits and several pit clusters, and a crouched inhumation burial of an adult female (radiocarbon dated to 4th–2nd century BC. Site shows svidence of stock control and field systems. Finds included Middle to late Iron Age and Roman pottery, antler tools, brooches, and animal bones (B1).
