Description
A post medieval drainage ditch system is visible on historic aerial photographs as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located along meadows about 500 metres E of Watbridge Farm and centred at SP 73269 14671, a sinuous ditch up to 3 metres wide extends ENE from a watercourse for about 1,512 metres. On aerial photographs taken in 2023 and recent remote sensing data, the earthworks appear to be levelled and are not visible (1-4).
