Description
A post medieval extractive pit is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located about 543 metres SSE of Hogshaw Hill Farm on Conduit Hill and centred at SP 74884 21706, the irregularly shaped pit covers an area of about 440 square metres (1-2).
