Description

A Thames pick (Reading Museum) and a chipped flint axe (Treacher collection) found in the Thames at Bourne End. (B1)

Only the implement, a tranchet axe, is in Reading Museum. The chipped flint axe may be with the majority of the Treacher Collection in the Dept. of Geology, Oxford University Museum (a). Siting not established. (B2)
