Description

At TQ 046/835, a 19th century Coal Duty Boundary Marker, on the north side of Cowley Mill Lane, by Long Bridge. This example is a type 2*, which is a cast iron post, showing 3-4 feet above ground, with a "correcting plate" which bears an inscription fixed to it [more information]. (1)
