Description

Three possible air raid shelters World War II date are visible on historic aerial photographs as extant buildings and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located east of Southern Street, Aylesbury, and centred at SP 81420 14428. Three single storey, flat roofed buildings are visible on aerial photographs from the 1940s next to a factory on Southern Road. They are still present in 1971 but have been replaced by other industrial buildings by 1978. (1-4)
