Description

Drainage ditches of probable post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on either side of a small stream, North Lee, Ellesborough and centred at SP 83383 08620. These ditches cross the flood plain of a small stream the flows from the moat and fishponds at Grove Farm, Ellesborough, they are clear as waterfilled ditches in 1948 and can still be seen as earthworks on lidar visualisations.
