Description
A medieval hollow way is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthwork and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located across fields between Willow Brook Farm and Oak Farm and centred at SP 83234 20900, a sinuous ditch up to 8.5 metres wide winds between blocks of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation for 700 metres W-E. On aerial photographs taken in 2022 and recent remote sensing data, parts of the hollow way remain visible as earthworks (1-3).
