RED FIELD MAY MARK THE SITE OF AN ENCOUNTER BETWEEN THE BRITONS & WEST SAXONS C.571 (B1).
4 SKELETONS FOUND IN SANDPIT (HAYMAN'S PIT IN OS 237), WHERE THERE WAS A MOUND, STILL PARTLY VISIBLE (B2).
3 UPRIGHT SKELETONS FOUND IN SAND DIGGING AT NGR (B3).
SITE NOW ALLOTMENTS/GARDENS; NOTHING VISIBLE (B4).
