Description

FIELD WALKING FOUND EVIDENCE OF ROMAN OCCUPATION, IN THE FORM OF CERAMICS (02:001.002.003)(B1).
NO EVIDENCE FOR EITHER HEARTHS OR OVENS (B1-2).
PRESUMABLY THE MOUNDS (01:000) WERE THOUGHT TO BE THE HEARTHS/OVENS. AS THE EVIDENCE FOR THE OVENS HAS BEEN DISPROVED LESS EVIDENCE FOR EXTENSIVE VILLA (B5).
